I am totally gonna give you a full taglin-*END*
Intro:
Master Chief returns in order to stop a fanatical race of aliens from activating a device that will destroy all life in the blast radius.
....That's basically the entire plot. There's not much of a story here, but there sure is a lot of action.
And a very premature endin-*END*

Areas of Concern:
Violence:
Mild Moderate Heavy Very Heavy Extreme Ban-worthy
General Violence:
Lots of aliens and humans are killed during the course of the game.
--They can be shot: Blood sprays, staining the environment, and cries of pain can be heard. You can also hit them with the butt of your rifle or slash them with a sword, with blood spraying.
--They can be blown up, with a grenade/projectile/explosive barrel; blood sprays and they are sent flying.
--We see some environments are stained with blood, and see the corpses of humans and aliens lying around.
--You fight enemies known as the Flood, who feature grotesque growths on their bodies and they explode into green fluids when killed.
--You can climb in vehicles at certain stages and fire at enemies, with explosions being shown, and wreckage when your vehicle is destroyed. You can also run over enemies, sending them flying.
--When you are killed, blood sprays on the ground, and your character falls over.
--You can fly around in a spacecraft and blow up other spacecraft, with explosions and wreckage.
Storyline Violence:
--An alien is branded with a hot iron, and he groans in pain.
--There are several sequences where explosions go off, with wreckage flying, ships being blown up, and characters being flung across the room.
--An alien creature jumps on another alien and sucks it's neck, with blood spraying out and cries of pain being heard.
Sex/Nudity:
Nothing.
Language:
Mild Moderate Heavy Very Heavy Extreme Ban-worthy
Infrequent Moderate Language: Uses of B**ch, A*s, P**s, B**t**d, H**l, and D**n.
--God's name is surprisingly not used in vain, but just in case I missed it, I'll say that it was.
Spiritual Content:
Mild Moderate Heavy Very Heavy Extreme Ban-worthy
--A few aliens slightly bow before a "Prophet".
--An alien race worships another race of aliens who came before them and created huge structures. They say stuff like: "In the names of our Fathers/Lords", "We shall continue our Fathers' glorious salvations!" and such.
-The story revolve around a race of aliens trying to find salvation by activating a device, unleashing a "holy fire" upon them, but this does not happen.
--A creature sarcastically refers to his enemy as "Demon".
Drugs/Alcohol/Smoking:
Mild Moderate Heavy Very Heavy Extreme Ban-worthy
Gross Stuff/Gore:
Mild Moderate Heavy Very Heavy Extreme Ban-worthy
--The flood are pretty gross with their wart-like growths and pale-flesh, and some environments feature fleshy growths on them.
Morality:
Abysmal Bad So-so Okay Good Very Good
Standard Hollywood Action Hero type morality: Save all the innocents, fight the bad guys. Nothing much to go crazy about here, but still, not bad.
Thoughts & Impressions:
While the game is surprisingly clean, is it good? Well, I just skimmed through the walkthrough, (Don't worry. The content stays the same throughout the whole game anyways.) and yeah, it was okay.
Would I play this game? Nah, but there's probably a lot more to found in it's multiplayer, where players might get their money's worth.
Oh wait, the original Xbox doesn't have a multiplayer service anymore. Dang......
So, should you get this game? Up to you. I honestly think that there are better games, but this one is okay. Get it if you're a hardcore Halo fan.
But remember, the game's biggest flaw is the fact that it ends too soo-*END*.
Honestly, a fictional alien religion, not very explicitly referred to, in a fictional world? Not really that offensive. Some people may beg to differ, but remember who you are talking to here. I'm normally quite harsh on stuff like this, but here, meh.....
As for the language and violence, it's really mild. I would recommend this for kids over 14 without batting an eye. Really, an M-rating? This game is milder than some T-rated games.....
