Intro:
Yes, players! Hawke here with the finale of the very popular Walking Dead season of video games. In the last Areas of Concern, you'll find out what happens to Lee after the events of Episode Four. I won't spoil it, as we still have not decided if the whole series is passable, content wise, but just know that it was a pretty major turn of events.

Bite-Sized Review:
Areas of Concern:
Storyline Violence:
--At the beginning of the game, a recap shows what happened in the previous "Episodes", with some of the violent moments being portrayed.
--A man has a few bloody markings on his arm, and some blood on his shirt.
--A man falls over onto the floor and struggles to remain conscious. He eventually hits the ground and passes out.
--A man sees a few people holding him down on an operating table, and one man holds a saw to his arm.
--A man can have his arm cut off; blood sprays out, the man screams, and his bloody and half-severed arm is seen briefly, with blood stains on the table. You see the saw move again, and blood sprays out. The scene cuts away afterwards. All of this happens quickly.
Afterwards, the man is seen with a bloody bandage over the stump where the arm was. The table where he had his arm cut off is also stained with blood.
--A walker is seen falling past a few people; it hits the floor below with a splat sound being heard.
--A man's bandaged wound has a bit of blood dripping out of it.
--A ladder suddenly slips, as a man runs and jumps off it, and the ladder falls onto a walker below, knocking him flat on the ground.
--A man jumps, hits a ledge, and grabs it, pulling himself up.
--A man shoots a walker in the head, with blood spraying out, and the walker falls over onto the ground, blood staining the floor.
--You are grabbed by a walker through the dog flap of a door; you kick him a few times, and eventually it's hand falls off, with a bit of blood.
--A bunch of walkers stick their arms through doors; you have to cut them off with a meat cleaver, with blood spurting and staining the door, and the severed arms drop to the ground. Some blood is seen on the cleaver afterwards.
--You chop a walker in the head with the cleaver, blood spurts out, and your character throws the walker onto the ground.
--A man shoots a walker, and it falls over. He is heard shooting a few more walkers.
--You shoot a few walkers, with blood squirting out.
--A man gets angry at another man and throws a small bust at him, but it misses and hits a wall.
--The corpses of a man and a woman are seen; their skins are pale, and they have blood on their faces and the pillows below their heads are also stained with blood. It looks like they committed mutual suicide.
--A metal ledge breaks as a man steps on it, and he falls to the ground with a crack being heard. He is seen lying on the ground with blood stains underneath him. He is still alive, but severely injured.
--We see a man after he got impaled on a rod, with blood on his clothes and the ground below him. A man tries to pull him off the rod, but the man screams in pain and crunching is heard. Another attempt is made at lifting the man off the rod, but the same thing happens.
--A man tries to fend off a few walkers, by hitting them with the pistol, punching, and throwing them. He shoots another man in the head off-screen. He is then overwhelmed by the walkers, and eaten off-screen, grunts of pain being heard.
--A man walks across a sign to get to a building. The sign then breaks, and he hangs on to what is left of it.
--You walk through a big group of walkers, chopping and slashing through heads with a meat cleaver, with blood spurting out, and the camera does show it in close-up at times. You chop one walker through the head, slicing part of it off, with blood squirting out. This happens quickly. Blood is seen on your character's face and clothes afterwards.
--A man talks to a severed head in a bag. This is not shown, but it is pretty disturbing regardless.
--A girl smacks a man in the head with a bottle. He cringes in pain, and another man tries to grab him. He retaliates, and kicks the man over onto the ground, and points a gun at his head, groping his face while he tries to shoot him.
--A man is thrown backwards against a bed, and he runs for his fallen gun. Another man charges into him, crashing into a closet. The man reaches for the other man's face, but he punches him, and starts strangling him. He chokes. This goes on for a while.
The man then breaks free of the chokehold, and jumps over onto the other man, and starts to strangle him. The attacking man is then shot in the head, blood spurting out, and blood stains are seen on the side of his face.
--A walker's severed head is seen briefly from a distance, and it growls at you.
--A walker suddenly appears, with his skin bloody and torn. You throw a walker over onto the ground and shoot him in the head with blood spraying out.
--A man slices a dead walker's stomach open off-screen. He removes a few intestines, and smears blood on a girl, staining her clothes.
--A man suddenly passes out, hitting the floor.
--A man struggles to walk, and falls over onto the ground a few times.
--A walker suddenly grabs a girl. They hit a pillar, and a glass object on top of the pillar falls and hits a man on the head.

--A man is shot off-screen.
--A man dies from a wound; he is seen slumping over.

Gross Stuff/Gore:
--The walkers are very disgusting to look at. They have pale, decomposing skin, which peels off their faces, their eyes are completely white, and they have many injuries, like dismembered limbs, bloody clothes, and a few weapons embedded in their bodies.
--A man and a girl have to cover themselves in a walker's blood at one point. Don't ask.

Thoughts & Impressions:
Telltale nails this last game with emotional writing and solid acting. In the final instalment, Lee Everett, the protagonist, has to make several gut wrenching decisions, which leads to a simple, but very effective conclusion.
Seriously. Bring a box of tissues. I mean it.
Not much more can be said about this game without spoiling the ending, so I will remain quite. I will save the verdict and review of the entire "Season" for our The Walking Dead Season One Review.
Fans of happily-ever-after stories may want to turn away, but for everyone else, Episode Five of the Walking Dead delivers with an honest ending that will haunt you for quite a while after the credits finish rolling.
Verdict: Strong Caution
The Walking Dead Episode Five is rated Strong Caution for Brief Gory Violence and Frequent Strong Language.
That's it folks! The Walking Dead is all here, and all you need to know now is if you should buy it, since buying the game means you get all the episodes, including the two that are rated Not Recommended.
We'll be back on Friday to give you the verdict.
